L'Shanah Tovah Tikatevu!

In honor of all my wonderful friends celebrating Rosh Hashanah, behold my first attempt at Challah. The recipe from The New Best Recipe Cookbook served me well.

I am not Jewish, but I did kneed many of my own prayers of good will into this bread, and fed it to the family members who came to help us build our screened pergola (aka fancy cat pen) on Saturday. I've always felt that well meaning prayers can be powerful regardless of which God to whom they're prayed.
